Sales representatives work to find prospective customers who can benefit from our services, create solutions for clients, and ensure a smooth sales process. Sales representatives will work to find new sales leads, through business directories, client referrals, cold calls, and other lead generation programs.

Inspection Services provides clients with certified personnel for their project demands, such as inspectors and construction managers.  We work across the country and we are currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional for an immediate opening. We pride ourselves in hiring individuals who will maintain professional, courteous, honest and helpful relationships with all existing and potential customers. The right candidate needs to possess excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Prospecting and developing new accounts is essential to the role. This role is perfect for those seeking growth opportunities because they are given the liberty to expand their area.

Responsibilities:

  • Generating new business leads and sales.
  • Maintaining productive relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Preparing proposals and presenting solutions to customers.
  • Maintaining internal sales communication system accurate and up-to-date.
  • Visit industrial construction sites, networking events, and other business generating opportunities, as you raise awareness of our company reputation within the midstream oil & gas community.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; 4 year technical degree is preferred.
  • Solid sales skills with a good understanding/aptitude of industrial construction, welding, oil & gas, refineries, power generation, steel mills, new construction, petrochemical, etc.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the industrial market is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to relate well to people of diverse backgrounds and professional orientations – from Maintenance personnel to Engineers as well as Project Managers and Safety Directors.
  • Self-Starter with great time management skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle and proper insurance.
  • This is a remote position, however, you might be required to attend occasional in-person meetings at our office location in Michigan City, IN.

Sales experience in industrial construction is a plus, but not required.  Position includes a base salary with a commission structure, which allows you to begin earning commission immediately. Position has potential to earn $100,000+, benefits are also available for this position.
